At one time I had the JP8000, SH201, and V-Synth all here to compare. dewi 88 slot To me they sounded different from each other even though supposedly it is the same synth engine The SH201 sounded closest and it was more powerful so it could do more than the JP8000 I would say the differences are subtle, but the JP8000 is more forward sounding
